Because its all fake, gov spending, money printing, 1% making most of the money, weapon sales, etc.
Do anyone know how the pc revolution began?
They were given from failed companies or from state offices.
I believe that the dot com bubble is just like this bubble. Some gained and some lost.
There are always both sides of the coin.
The Japanese stagnation is going to an end and someone else is going to be the chosen one.
Is it justified, everything is justified.
We create robots to work in the factory.
The bicentennial man
A robot makes furnitures and get a finger cut off.
They go to repair the robot where the human says the cost to repair the finger is over his full year salary without taxes.
Not bad for a robot says Sam Neill
Now. Was he just lazy for not being a robot or was the robot lazy for cutting off the finger.
Lazy people makes accidents happen at work.
My grandparents and parents both grew up in a world where you had a job that was your career. You earned a pension and in some cases profit sharing. There was legitimate capital to be earned and the wage gap was significantly smaller. You could buy a house off of a singular income in those days. My grandparents bought their house for $7,500 and had it paid off in less than 15 years.
Try doing that today, without already having the capital of owning a home.
The problem with boomers and gen x is that they don’t understand the world they created from the one they lived in and still have the mentality of better economic times and more opportunities.
Also, when boomers and gen x complain about the youth they’re basically just calling themselves terrible parents who couldn’t instill proper values to their children.
The youth of this country are discouraged for a reason but the people responsible for it refuse to acknowledge the role they played in it through their policies and indifference.
Anyone who thinks the economy is fair should give up all their possessions and capital to start at the bottom and show us all how it’s done.
It all depends where you grew up and where you live. In most parts of the USA, people are barely getting by compared to the 90s. Poor people in the 90s had it way better than the middle class have it in 2024. I'm old enough to say so.
But in my parents' country, the Dominican Republic, life was rough in the 90s. Now, my entire family in the D.R. are living like millionaires with thriving business, opulent homes, and endless cash.
Yet somehow USA economy is supposedly much better than Europe, yet USA based on what people told me much worse issues than especially rich european countries. Poverty according to people who been to USA is far worse than it is at home.
Like people there say they work well over 40h for salaries under $100k with basically no vacation or financial security and have massive student debt at much higher interest rate than I've.
Only reason to want to work in USA seems to be if you can reach like $200k jobs or something and maybe still have access to cheaper countries to make the money worth more.
In truth they just needed it to appear that they were looking so they could point to it when people complained about missing their kid's school play. "As you know we're understaffed, so we need to pull together as a team and make sacrifices."
as it is utterly selfish.
and it gives me feelings they deserve a proper beating up to get them back into order!
look if they just want to work less and also live simpler.. that in itself I am ok with.
but this lazy attitude goes way further than just that...
like there is a birthday.. they just show up without any gift.. "yeah not material""
look ahole.. I gave you a gift a gift is not about costing a fortune it is about showing you know said friend.. what he/she likes and that you took the time to shop and get something even if it is a bloody 2 euro item...
and there is more.. they always are like no I have no coffee.. cause I not drink it.. as in utterly selfish when they recieve guests.. while any normal person makes sure he stocks what he KNOWS his friends like.. I mean I stock their disgusting overpriced herbal teas too.
and even more.. their "declutter" mindset in effect means they hardly own anything but always are begging people like me who DO have everything an adult man should own.. can I borrow this tool, can I borrow 5 plates cause I have a birthday can I borrow chairs.. THE F dude.. get your own.. instead of living with just 1 plate and 1 cup and no tools.. "yeah but I only use them a few times a year and I hate stuff" guess what WE ALL DO.. but we DONT go begging around.. nor should you!
and than there is the utter DISREPECT for your stuff.. like I have nice glasses some wineglasses can be like 20 or 50 euro a piece... when I break something in a friends house... I ALWAYS offer to pay.. generally that is waved.. if a small item.. but I insists. normal couracy.. I also have insurance for claims should I damage anything over 100 euro I can use that.
they.. no insuance.. no nothing.. they wil just goofball around with your expensive stuff like I see them try balancing my expensive glass on like a branch of a tyree than it falls.. and they don't even offer to pay up.. and when I act angry they like "what you mind thats like 50 cent" at which I am NO it is no you jackasss its 50 euro! and insetad of acting shocked, humbled and imedialty oh I did not know shall I pay.. nop[e.. they ridicule ME for having nice items..
and if there is like a bbq with friends.. they again ALWAYS cheap out.. yet eat their fill of all the expensive stuff I and others bring.. but than.. do loudly boast about yet another 15k holiday trip of 12 months they will do for 9 months of actually working 18h a week is SOOO tiresome..
that kind of disrepect leeching behavior is gen z for me and I hate it..
I am always fine with friends who are poorer.. cause they can't help it.. but even they offer to pay their fair share.. than I often say.. I got you covered... no brainer to me.. if I have it better and they can't help it ofcourse..
but even they bring a gift even if it is a 50 cent one.. and I not mind.. it's the attention that matters and a gift must be in proportion a wealthy person brings large gifts a poor person only small ones.. is totally normal to me..
but a person who has 15k trip money and himself only chooses to work so little.. basicly just profits OFF me.. and that is enraging.
oh and yeah.. try even to GET an Gen Z person to grasp the concept of responsibility or "because thats how it SHOULD be done"
it's alient to them.. total jerks.
like they will arrive barefoot on a funeral of my dad.. case they have this barefoot fase... total without respect.
Also consider a much bigger part of USA economy is healthcare than any other country, yet have poor life expectency compared to similar rich countries.
Only 12% of Americans earn more than $100K per year.
Only 1% of Americans earn more than $200K per year.
Don't confuse household income with individual income.
I hear what you saying but there is nothing to pay with. What do you want in return for using your tools. What I can give you.
I think I tried to make people understand that communism doesn't exist as every communist state is a failed capitalism.
You don't have anything to pay with so we will have to start with selling our children to you. Eat them, screw them. Anything as long you accept them.
Let me loan it, what will you do in return.
I Owe You. Is money.
I do whatever you ask as long you give back the debt to me. We're all in debt. Anyone who need to work to live is in debt.
Once all debts are paid is when it collapses since everyone are free but none is able to survive. Which is why I Owe You will come back to them.
If you try to say that they can just get their own they need to become in debt to obtain it. But banks will not allow anyone to become in debt. To obtain it they need the credit score to obtain the right become in debt.
It has never been about who is lazy since the most lazy thing would be to have money and not in need of anything or anyone. You have no responsibility any longer since all debts have been collected back to you.
What we believe is money is I Owe You.
We collect I Owe You to become debt free.
This is why nobody here is debt free unless you have no responsibility for others.
We're born with debts and we collect debts to become free of debts. And that means every time you give money you give a I Owe You.
The reason why is because there is no silver or gold used as payment. Everything we do is collecting our own debts. And once we have them we need to keep them to make sure nobody put us in debt to others.
What the bank does is the mafia as they want to loan the money they given to you and claim that you have I Owe You to them but it is the opposite. You are holding their debts to you.
You may not think that what you own is just as material like everything else. In the end guns are pointed to make them do what they want them to do.
I Owe You what I don't have but you not selling. Which is why loans in practice never existed. I can not loan anything.
You would be stealing what was given to me. In claim I loaned it.
boohoo. omg its this generation, or that generation. its all their fault and they make me fweel icky!! Its their fault I don't want to work or be a part of society.
I mean someone here was blaming things on a generation that was born in the 1880s.. (lost generation). that on had me spit some tea out.
please keep going.
It’s not exactly a black and white issue though. Personal responsibility definitely plays a factor in success, as does the actions of the generations before us.
I do well for myself but I still see the problems previous generations have left us with.
It’s just wild that they’re like “wut!? Nuh uh! I did nothing to cause hardships that entire generations are dealing with!”
Yeah. Sure. Okay.
