Amen.
Who mentioned 'public' anyway?
There are the weak men who are the biggest crybabies in the world.
There also are the strongest men who sometimes have to pour it out!
It could mean anything.
Only soy boys, femboys, mentally weak men cry. I take it you cry lol here is a tissue

It feels weird to cry in public..
I'm not exactly sure of what is it, but I think it's got to do with my own ego and pride, with my public image that I have built through my life by being myself.
The pessimistic side of me also believes that there're always some people who'd use it for their own benefit, completely ignoring the obvious that if I ever decide to reveal such precious emotions to a person, then they're important to me and have this special privilege that only a few people ever get to receive.
Indeed, it's in one's best interest to keep some stuff for themself.
If that's how you feel about it, then that's good!
I do prefer sharing some of my worries whenever I feel isn't the inappropriate atmosphere and place, as it somehow feels as if I'm getting closer to the person I'm sharing it with.. Which benefits me in the future and I get to receive some extra attention without even having to put in mucha effort.
Thanks, Shiro. I enjoy your perspective.
To be clear. I have cried before and I will cry in the future. There is nothing wrong with crying in my opinion. Let it out. Heh.
However, we should respect society - our public space. Everyone is dealing with their sh!t. As a man, why burden unknown men with another sad story. Suck it up Buttercup. Do it in private. And join us again when ready.
I like to nurture, not coddle.
That isn't true anymore. While women aren't making 1:1 the same amount as men, it's more normal now than it was for women to share the financial burdens of the house and major responsibilities. What you're describing is the ideal conservative society, which thankfully, the west is moving away from.
What is still normal but also less so, is your idea that men must only cry in private or in arbitrary niche situations. Whatever you deem to be a "stupid" reason. Telling men they aren't allowed to express their emotions is terrible for their mental health and is one of the reasons why men's suicides is 4x higher than women's.
You're making their feelings your problem and that's on you, not them.
He was one of those famously spastic emotional coaches who would practice his players HARD! They modern rules wouldn't allow such things. He would yell, scream and curse at the slightest details!
And then at the end break down and cry and tell them how much he loved them!
His teams would walk through walls for him and they got on the field and performed!

A Football Life ♥♥♥♥ Vermeil.
EDIT:
For crying out loud. It censored his first name.
Rolls eyes.
The roots of the push for male emotional incontinence comes from a very dark place.
This video looks at the history of those psychological theories based on a documentary which should have made it clear it was bad 20 years ago, but people of course ignored it as the cultural subversion was complete.

Does anyone here enjoy men blubbering in public?
