If its 'just' an obstruction thing that didnt blow out then all well and good they can clear it out but if its a hardware thing yikes, they will know what to do.
Anyway, I would open it and clean it properly.
joke aside Give a call to MS support and they will send fedex to pick it up.
Im no expert but ive heard somewhere that older machine's that get very hot migth catch fire start smoking if enough dust gets in the worng place.
Thats why I vacuum the inside of my pc evry now and then.
