I don't know if a free tool that does it all, but, there are a couple tools that can help you with world building as a sort of suite.
Map creation:
Platec (or a fork thereof to create realistic heightmaps):
https://sourceforge.net/projects/platec/
https://github.com/Mindwerks/plate-tectonics
Editing and using the map (not super-accurate, but can load heightmaps and is fairly user-friendly):
https://azgaar.github.io/Fantasy-Map-Generator/
Alternatively, there is also this, but I don't know about its editing capabilities:
https://github.com/Mindwerks/worldengine
There is also this tool collection, which includes a pretty nifty town and village generator and integration with Azgaar's map generator...
https://watabou.github.io/
For writing, I'd suggest these tools:
Novel creation tool (for example Manuscript):
https://www.theologeek.ch/manuskript/
Personal Wiki (for example Zim):
https://zim-wiki.org/
For further reading on FOSS tools for media creation, I suggest my guide. :)

Although there are free browser-based tools with a simple GUIs, they often require at least a basic understanding of astronomy, so for creating entire planetary system in an accurate and interactive manner through a GUI, I actually come to suggest Universe Sandbox:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/230290/Universe_Sandbox/
most likely the bedder would actively attack to the tool, so that nobody could compete with their seed.
Yeah i wanted to do it online because all of my projects were geting damaged or thrown out by my family members while in paper form. But i gues i coud buy a safe but that is also kinda expencive atm...
Also like waiting isnt an option here since if some great programe did exist it woud have AI steal from it and make it worthless. So now creative programes woud not be created because they will need a AI protection somehow which i think is expencive and you need a licence simne people decided to profit from artists who are allready being profited from by AI...
Your family throwing away your on-paper projects? That's crazy. Not sure why they do it, but sounds like abuse. Hope you can get help.
In regards to those tools: Except for Universe Sandbox, all of them are open-source. But you need to save stuff locally. But you could also upload stuff to a cloud or whatever (Dropbox, OneDrive, Gdrive, etc.) or rent a server yourself. Some people even use a private but online git (Github, Gitlab, Codeberg, etc.) for writing books.
I'll probably have a spin on it again now.
