Franklin D. Roosevelt is better than George Washington
Franklin D. Roosevelt pushed the 21st Constitutional amendment to legalize alcohol. Alcohol was legal during the British rule. He was the only 12-year president. His policies saved the economy. The cherry trees are made national gifts and protected by laws so that you will still be thrown into jail even if you H.O.N.E.S.T.L.Y admit cutting down a cherry tree.

Genghis Khan is better than Hon'om'on-nyo'im.

All of Asia didn't take to the waves to escape him. Hardly anybody did.

Why nobody replies? Is it too long to read?

You do know that he never cut down a cherry tree, right?

But on a serious note, FDR, because he did a much better job planning the attack on Pearl Harbor than Washington did planning the Battles of Lexington and Concord.

Actually his uncle owned a cherry tree farm and he worked there some summers, chopping old trees.

Apparently he hated the job and would cut the wrong tree sometimes, and in order to spin this for his campaign they made up the story about him coming clean. Kind of clever, as far as campaign spins go.

The predominantly English-backed opposition manufactured evidence claiming he'd never even seen a cherry tree.

He felt bad for what Japan was doing in Manchuria.

If they'd only been the first country in the world to have a peaceful occupation of a foreign nation he never would have backed the oil embargo and then antagonized them. ... wait, that was before...

uhh, if only england didn't twist his arm economically and give him an excuse! then Japan wouldn't have the exact same excuse!

lexington was vampire shenanigans.

concord he was offered a surrender deal before england sprung a strategic ambush both sides were fully aware of. pretending he didn't walk into a trap and get everyone beaten just to prove their intel was good sounds worse than 'he masterminded both sides.' especially since it wasn't his intel and the political coalition was falling apart due to infighting, and his only out was literally having the army shoot itself in the foot to get itself together.

again, elections.

Temperance was a worldwide phenomenon, right up there with anti-communism and anti-capitalism.

Are you suggesting England somehow manufactured the ban of alcohol in order to profiteer its inevitability?

I appreciate him issuing Executive Order 9066. He was a glorious leader.

Actually they had someone else sign it. The entire order was the pet project of a singular army reserve major with ties to nazi germany; literally one person in the state department backed him up, and absolutely everyone else at every level of every organization between him and there thought it was a dumb pointless idea.

It was suppressed because the president isn't supposed to use secretaries to sign things, even if the political will of the country has somehow made this unpopular and widely disliked bill mandatory and he's somehow filtered his incoming paperwork into 'mandatory sign' and 'actually read.'
