no one is stopping you from creating a thread about something else, you just can't think of anything more compelling to talk about and that's what you're upset about really...

Politics being unbanned ruined this forum.

Now the same political threads about Harris or Trump are top 24/7, and everyone is heated and at each others throats.

I'm glad I'm not going crazy. Since when did Valve start allowing so much political ♥♥♥♥? I remember back in like 2016, you couldn't even mention the names Trump or Hillary without the thread getting insta-locked and a ban.
