Nobody wants to work in the U.S.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baU8U4obHGw

Home ownership, cars and children have all become inflated over the years. Also, there are a lot of non-career jobs, so people are switching jobs every year or two.

"Nobody wants to work in the us"
Meanwhile cuts even more jobs, creates fake job openings that were never intended to be filled. So that they could please investors that "we are growing".
"Stinkin lazy ppl, just get a job!"

Then stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ laying people off etc
They make it too difficult for young people to get jobs also. You have a college degree, that's cool. You still need 10 years of experience and a dozen interviews before we'll hire you.

minimum wage doesn't cover minimum needs

covid handouts paid more then some actual jobs

I don't blame people when your value of labor isn't reciprocated. Some of the hardest jobs I worked paid the least

yeah its corps mostly, its not worry though cause its anywhere like that, soon they will hire robots instead or some ai program. and its not clear if its better with ai or not, its cause education and people often trick each other for money as well. we just need care about another people than chase after some golden goose cause its gonna devour us quicker than any other people.

I don't blame people for not following the crowd (working for these greedy corporations) and starting their own business/doing freelance.

Idk if where I live the whole thing of making fake job offers is illegal or not 🤔
janitor requires to have a college degree you know it is doomed
It's not that nobody wants to work , nobody wants to work for miserable pay, no healthcare, no pension plan and no paid/sick time off. People are less and less willing to be corporate wage-slaves. Improve the work offers, and people will want to work.

I wonder what will happen if people just all stopped working?

I’m very tempted to reopen my OhhEff account.

Yea. And those jobs are the least protected.

This video about a Home Depot worker, who btw is 70 plus, was fired because she didn't stop someone from using a supposed stolen credit card. The thing is, she was also given a plaque for her service by Home depot.

Your service means nothing. You will be easily replaced as a cashier because those type of positions are easily replaceable. People need to skill up. Learn skills, like computer programming, engineering, etc. My sister is making nearly $160k a year because of her skill-set as a programmer. You can either learn valuable skills, and get paid for your knowledge or be like this lady. Work for a company who will let you go regardless of commitment.

And who WILL do those jobs you consider low-skill? Who will check you out at the grocery store? Who will serve your coffee/food at a cafe or restaurant? If a job exists, it means that it needs doing. And if it needs doing, it means it has to be PAID enough for the one doing it to make a living of it.

You gotta be valuable to the point where you can leverage your position.

For example when I was 2 minutes late for work my boss complained. But since I was the only forklift driver at the time I said “Oh, I guess I’m fired then?” And he said “I was just pulling your leg. I need you.”

Those jobs are low-skill. Are they not. At least I'm being honest.

All that I'm doing is pointing out what happens when you rely on these type of positions for your livelihood. I have nothing against people who do these type of jobs. We need cashiers just like we need police officers, teachers, and doctors. My point is you run the risk of those companies, like Walmart, Target and Home Depot, taking advantage because you are easily replaceable.

That was my point, and the point of the video.

Yeah. I don't even need to click the link, you're right, at least as far as my home state goes.

Property taxes are going up. Know what that means? It means houses will cost more, which means landlords will charge more, which means tenants pay more, so they need higher paying jobs, and so businesses charge more to compensate for lost money paying employees. Yadda yadda inflation, inflation.

A lot of jobs in my area have actually LOWERED their pay, which only compounds this issue. Everything is expensive now, and more taxes get taken out of our pay checks than before, people can't afford to get paid less for the same job.

That's hogwash. EVERYWHERE else in the world, people are paid enough to get by on ANY job. Even a "low-skill" worker has to be paid enough to afford basic necessities. I don't see companies in Europe going out of business despite paying "low-skill" workers better along with paying for their pension plan and healthcare in certain countries. Only in the US do people still justify that kind of predatory and inhumane behavior such as not paying honest working people a DECENT amount to at least survive on.
