If you own a PS5 base and want a Pro, you can trade in your PS5 base and get a PS5 Pro at a reduced cost.

If you do not own a PS5 or PS5 Pro and want a PS5 Pro, you're only paying an extra $100 for upgraded performance over the PS5 base.

If you don't want to pay the extra $100 for the PS5 Pro, but want a PS5, just get the PS5 base.

Ok, so why all of the backlash against the PS5 Pro price, when it's just a mere $100? You can save up $100 (if you really need to) in a short amount of time!

Also it is a new machine. It's not like the Sega C.D. where you attach it to your old console so the add-on can also take advantage of the old hardware. Maybe if it was I'd be more interested. Also, My enthusiasm is rock bottom for this device. Maybe I would've considered one for $700 if it included the disc drive, since I don't already have a Playstation 5 anyway, but as things stand? Nah.

The issue with this statement is that they are not the same.
A PC is a multi tool and a PC5 is a family entertainment system

Basically what I am trying to tell you, is that I can´t do my taxes, work, video/image editing and so forth on the PS5.

I built my PC for less than $1000. I'm still on 1080p and I don't care about 4K, ray tracing, 150 FPS or none of that BS kids these days are on about.

Considering the longer they manufacture the same model, the prices generally decrease, they could of easily kept the same price with little loss. If they did that, I am sure they would of made up the difference in sales.

I like how in the comparison videos they made the regular PS5 gameplay look worse/bad on purpose. You can tell (well, I can) they only did that to make the PS5 "Pro" look like the better choice.


Focusing on stuff (that they themselves have to zoom in on) just so you can see the "difference" blah. It's an overpriced cash grab. They could have included the Stand (especially for $700+ they should) and have a lower costing attachable disc drive (why release only a digital ps5 pro version? for more money!)


They barely released anything strictly for the PS5 to get the most out of it. Just a bunch of 3rd party games and maybe what, 4-5 or so PS5 only actual titles? it's just all bull and lame crap.


I still have my PS4 and didn't bother getting a PS5. Now, I don't even want one. I'll stick with my Xbox Series X and laptop for gaming. PS/Sony doesn't deserve anyone's money.


They obviously don't care, why should we? they just want money, they don't care about the ps fans/consumers etc. Screw them. Without us/people putting money in their pockets, they wouldn't even be a thing.
