i can agree that video game characters look way more “toned down” and “normal”! but “ugly” is a stretch imo

Still woke-ism, trying to appease people. It's better to just buy these games on PC and then just mod them back to the way they were before they were wokified.

sure, but aren’t video games created by people that live in “reality”? don’t a lot of games reflect things that happen in real life to draw an experience for the player? also, why do you assume that everyone uses games as an “escape”? lastly, not every game is created to be an “escape from reality” - some people use games as a creative medium to get their ideas out there for other people to experience.

The uglification in videogames started with the first XBox and the invasion of countless "mature" looking first person shooters full of filth and degraded locations. And everybody loved it because it was so "mature". Now all of a sudden everybody hates it when females become ugly too. Well, I agree, I do not want ugly stuff in videogames, I want everything to be stylish and pleasant to look at, females included even if I could not care less about female characters, if there is a female character then I would not want her to be ugly. But it's just I can't help but ask myself how many of those who now complain because the female characters have become ugly too enjoyed and praised ugly games like Call of Duty, GTA 4 (byt the way, ugly male characters suck as well, you know?) and so on and despised any other kind of game.
You people are just getting the final stage of evolution of what you have praised for all those years.

OP is correct. Left 4 dead is a perfect example of this. In the first one we had a cute girl (Zoey), in the 2nd one we had a very non-cute woman (Rochelle).

There's nothing wrong with a game being more realistic. However, when it's a direct sequel to a game and they change the face model, developers shouldn't do that or they get labelled woke automatically.

Just play Japanese games instead. Western games are a lost cause now. Generally its best to just ignore them. Also Japanese games are generally better quality in general as well.

Busty vixens were the norm in 1960's Hollywood movies and that's the era these guys want to bring back regardless of the story.

Predator? The only woman is a petite Asian woman and she definitely wasn't a busty vixen.

The Matrix? Trinity wasn't a busty blonde model from what I recall.

Alien? Ripley wasn't a page 3 girl either.
