Sweet Baby Inc is a good thing for gaming

And let's face it, whether you like it or not, it's here to stay along with most other things gamers grumble about. If you feel attacked by its existence, it simply means you're no longer the target audience. Games now appeal to the lowest common denominator. They're now far more enjoyable and accessible for the largest amount of people than ever before.

I think they are toxic. its better when video games feel naturally diverse as opposed to shoehorned in by these consultation firms. when was the last time you heard someone complain about mass effect having aliens everywhere, baldur's gate having elves, warhammer having rat people or tomb raider having a woman protagonist? nobody cares if a developer builds a perfectly natural world where everybody is an individual who is intelligent and commands respect by their own deeds, regardless of their background

(If you haven't noticed, I haven't been following any of this "news" that you have been following. And I will also not follow it. Ever. And I do not care about it. So, when you write about "sweet baby," I think you're writing about babies and how they taste, because sweet is a taste.)

Problem is the people who created those worlds and characters and the stories surrounding them were also talented.

If Sweet Baby or whoever made their own world, or use someone else's world like Warhammer to make a feasible story, then I doubt Sweet Baby would have got as much of bad reputation as they did.

Tis a shame Sweet Baby Inc was able to crowd-source a harassment campaign off of the internet though to close the group forum. But they would rather silence the voice than address the issue.

A similar thing happened in Baldur's Gate 3. They crowd-sourced a report campaign based off of misinformation to remove a mod from the popular nodding site, Nexus Mods, that simply changed a female lesbian angel in the game to a hetero male - even though there are are male-to-female mods and hetero-to-LGBT mods on the site.

The same thing is happening to Boeing aircraft as quality workmanship is no longer the governing factor. SBI involved games are made for political indoctrination rather then good game play. They are hiring Devs based on race and gender rather then ability and is one of the main reasons why gaming is sinking into mediocrity. The same thing is happening to Boeing aircraft and is reflected in the increasing failures of products that are governed by DEI standards.
