Will gamers ever learn to never preorder?
It's like every major release nowadays has this one group of disgruntled consoomers saying things like "never preordering again" or "I can't believe I preordered this". With the amount of comments I've seen for the past decade or so regurgitating the same thing, you think preordering would be a thing of the past, yet dumbfugs still do it.

Tinfoil hat time: The same people saying this will still get caught up the the consoomer hype and preorder the next disaster in the making.

I have lost hope when I saw how many people pre ordered the Elden Ring DLC just to get a sloppy taunt.
People never learn

I could count the number of games I've pre ordered in my life on one hand.

Like I think pokemon sun/moon/ultra and uhhh.... uhhh...... might be it

and all I got from it was like 20-30 quick balls at the start...

I will gladly pre-order and pay something extra if I'm truly interested and the bonus is all worth it.

yes, it is encouraging mediocre product quality. can't deny that.

'why work when they buy it anyway' lazy mentality.

If the result isn't done well enough, then I'm not pre-ordering. It's really not as complicated as many people tend to assume and claim.

I will never stop pre-ordering games that I deem must have.

I used to pre-order from NISA all the time before they pissed me off. I also pre-ordered from Atlus before they got bought out by Sega.

It is all about needs versus wants when it comes to games.

I only preorder if I know without a doubt that it's a game I want and will enjoy. And it's only physical games I'll preorder. I've only ever preprdered two things digitally, and one of those I refunded a few months ago after I determined that official information released by the publisher indicated it was no longer a game I was certain I would enjoy.

Do I get a Limited Edition Skin for having this post on the first page of this thread? Did I pre-post in time?!

I agree - Gamer's rushing to pre-order is a problem.

But, paying in advance for a product you can't possible ever own or use as or when you wish... is wrong, too...

If I buy a game today and a developer decides they don't want to make good on their promises, I have zero recourse. They get my money, I get... Well, usually not much resembling the product they made it out to be.

It's all borked-up and we are herds upon which they feed.

Most likely nope, after all there's a reason AAA corporations still lure "whales", like a Casino does with gambling addicted people.

You need to stop pocket watching and let others pre order whatever they want:steamhappy:
I only ever preordered one game because by the time it came out it became more expensive on my region.
