Well, put it like that, he is beaten by Obama at every turn. Obama was in like 4 conflicts and threatened his daughter's boyfriend with a drone strike on his house. Did Obama lied about the drone threat on a civilian ? :)

The actual reason why Russia can't withdraw is that Ukraine would join NATO as soon as they can. Countries at war cannot join, so Putin will extend this forever... while encouraging other countries to join NATO, genius move.
