after 10000+ hours in Dota2 i finally tried League... i just can't get the same level of adrenaline from it as i get in Dota... it just feels slow and clunky..

so i guess League of Legends?

wait.... league of legends is slower than dota?? i dont play both of these games that much. in fact im not a moba player at all and my knowledge in these games are limited, but i always thought dota was slower than league simply because of the units' movement speed, turn speed, and other things im probably missing.

That's probably caused by rabid souls fans to overpraise the game. The game is good but you guys really overpraise it like it did nothing wrong.

I'll respond to this since it's a fair point, there are a decent amount of rabid fanboys that make the community annoying to deal with and it even makes me dislike the community at times.

Personally though, I don't overpraise the games. I love them but I still think they have some ♥♥♥♥ parts to 'em. They're gems, but they have rough edges that are overlooked too often.

Yep, and I and most of my friends love the game. It's just that I dislike the rabid fanboys. Not the community though, there are a lot of people in the community that literally sat on steam forums just waiting for help request. Just the fanboys.

I have played both, tried LoL for a month and it wasn't exciting. Dota has more chaos and getting from spawn to first tower on any lane felt like long time had passed but that is just me. Some of the champions in LoL feel the same. And that is a month that killed my interest in MOBAs until I met someone who plays Dota as well, the interest died again last year I think.

I agree, games that have story that is literally all on youtube and not even in the game is the foremost issue for me. If I wanted to play a game with no story where silly looking Marval superhero knock-offs beat each other for 10 minutes straight, I'd of just gone and played City of Heroes/City of Villains!

By far the worst boring ones are Touhou Bullethells, as good as their other games are, their bullethells are at this day and age, a classic-challege type game and I understand why, I just dont enjoy it, their not bad, hell if you want an insane challenge then Touhou bullethells are the place to seek them out, its just they lack a story to tell.

Like one mission involves you chasing down what I think was a dragon, who suddenly starts blatting you in the face with more lasers then the freaking deathstar fired off during its short day of life, more bombs then there are nuclear weapons on earth and in the end the final boss is not something you have to fight, its a literal giant coffin that slowly closes down upon you as several giant markers for ion cannon strikes fall around you and you need to dodge the ion cannon hellfire as you get sealed in a coffin. https://youtu.be/zmyDrJJaLoo?t=687
