They don't even have every single EA game, just ones that were released in the past few years.

Quick perusal of Origin shows at least 300 titles (including DLC) available on Origin
Ooh I went to check, and yeah there are. I remember there used to only be EA games though but it looks like they have The Walking Dead, Resident Evil, and others now.
In a huge online gaming community, variety wins. No one is going to seek all 2,000 titles, but all 2,000 titles will probably be played.
Another issue is that Origin does tend to crash during gameplay and doesn't always connect to EA all the time.
