No "WAR" word!
If this world did not know such a word as "War", if there were no world wars and international conflicts, then what do you think games would be about?:melthink:

We are right. . . we are right never changes.
i am actually struggling to think of media where war is not at least part of the setting in some way, or could be inferred or implied to be part of the setting. even in hello kitty island adventure, surely there exists war somewhere?
In my opinion, it should be an alien invasion and the salvation of humanity through joint efforts.:cool_seagull:
Every indie that ever existed basically.

you may like the film "arrival" for this

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrival_(film)

aliens do not invade, but they do come to earth. and humanity works together to figure out what they are and why they are here.

This. Add plants, fungus, bacteria, viruses etc. all of it.

This planet has been in world war for over 4 billion years, it will last at least another 4 billion, long after humans are gone, there will still be war.

Humans did not invent it, they just made it more ridiculous than it already was. MAD failed, we still war.

Peace was never an option.

My first thought is the movie with Tom Cruise, War of the Worlds. :cool_seagull:
you can see people attempting it with a lot of newer games but yeah i find games without conflict rather boring, but still it is fake conflict a lot of the time i've spent the last week training a dragon in an srpg. His name is Sandwitch he is a dangerous dragon with 52 million HP beware the mighty Sandwitch.

if an advanced alien species really did attack earth, one far stronger than us, humanity would really have no choice but to be ceasing conflict and setting aside their differences at least for the time being if they wished to resist.

this concept is not explored very thoroughly in war of the worlds, but i am sure it is in other alien invasion media.
No war, just special military operations.
