I don't remember Winnie the Pooh being so intense.
Watching some with the boys.

I even remember a lot of these episodes. I just don't remember them being so intense. I think Rabbit had a legit mental breakdown, and later in the episode legit jumped off of a cliff. Thankfully, Tigger caught him.

And it's not even funny, like Squidward in Spongebob. All the other characters are just like "damn dude."

thats "poohs grand adventure", aye? that one is infamous for being hilariously dark for a movie made for 4 year olds.
Ever seen Blood and Honey?:steamhappy:

Otherwise W the P is rather dark. Each character suffers from some kind of mental illness.
Or they are all manifestations of different parts of Christopher Robin's personality.
Or his multiple personalities.
I loved Winnie the Pooh when I was a kid.

My aunt had the Winnie the Pooh cake pan and actually made it for me for my 7th birthday. She died not too long after that from a heart attack. Never forgot it or her.

She was one of those bright spots in the Universe.
My older brothers best mate (will) knew Christopher Robin, or the chap he was based on.

uh, AA milne!? i thought AA milne based christopher robin on himself and his childhood playtimes with his stuffed animals? did he base him on someone else?

Balancing that with his chairman job in china seems hard
The characters were designed around mental illness.

so they are not real? is christopher robin just imagining that all of his stuffed animals are alive and talking to him? also, are rabbit and owl stuffed animals too or just creatures in the hundred acre wood? they do not have any stitches like the rest of them.

Oh they are real, haven't you seen the hit live action adaptation where Pooh is some guy with a mask and kills people with Piglet? Blood and Honey it was.

yeah lol, i actually sort of like it. its hilariously awful, but hilariously awful films are very fun to watch. the second film is actually unironically kind of okay, and also fun to watch.
i do remember it going hard

Winnie the Pooh series is entirely about mental illness. Rabbit has OCD, Piglet has anxiety, Eeyore is depressed AF, Tigger has ADHD, even the Owl is dyslexic and narcissistic. Kanga is antisocial. and Pooh himself has an eating disorder. I've also heard mention that Christopher Robin who imagines all of these things could be schizophrenic.

Why does Winnie the Pooh wear a shirt but no pants?
