Why do some people say that LGBT community filled with pedo’s?
It’s like the always be someone accusing the whole community of being child molesters, why do they assume that?

I'm actually against the idea of teaching it in schools. Much like religion and evolution, etc.
as was the system, last I heard they removed sexual education from the highschool required teachings last I heard ffs...

yall going on about someone miss-using your pronouns while people aren't even being educated on how to have "traditional sex" safely... and you want to be all like "RESPECT MY PRONOUNS!!"...

well ya-di-da-da Mr. Mrs.

Forcing them to celebrate pride month isn't "telling kids people exist." Your refusal to even recognize that an ideology is being pushed onto them not actually relevant to their education is why the LGBT community is getting a bad rep when it comes to kids... Just leave them out of it. It's not hard.
Ah yes, all those mandatory pride celebrations schools definitely have that totally aren't a few cherry-picked cases (if they even exist) used to villify the idea of letting children know that LGBT people exist and aren't evil. Most I've seen is a few history lessons on LGBT civil rights movements, and occasionally reading books that have LGBT characters (which aren't sexually explicit or whatever).

So then, would you be fine with acknowledging that LGBT people exist and that it is okay, as long as children aren't forced pride celebrations (which as far as I can tell isn't a thing) while also making all other holiday stuff optional?

Oh yeah? Just a few cherry picked cases, not the norm, so they shouldn't be used as a rule? Okay, denounce them then. Denounce any school coercing by any means, children in taking part in pride celebrations. Condemn the ones that did, and there's been quite a few.

Ahmmm yes it does... Because in the past think that the best way to grow up is how they grew up in the past ,which unfortunately leads to the old story of older generations hating new ppl....

I do notice gen z is changing but only time will tell :V
Isn’t Gen Z doing the same thing by pushing ideologies and agendas like the group discussed here?
pushing ideologies such as "lgbt people exist and they deserve to have rights and not be discriminated against?"

man nobody can tell me this forum isn't an alt right ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because every time topics like this come up all the right wingers on this forum come out in droves to ♥♥♥♥♥ about the "lgbt agenda" and spew talking points from their favorite youtube grifters

well ya-di-da-da Mr. Mrs.

I wouldn't suggest to remove them completely, but rather have their more optional with a parents signature to what they accept the individual child to learn perhaps.

As for pronouns, I don't see any issue to use the name desired by anyone. Most of the time, you likely won't be saying Mr or Mrs anyways, but why is that such a big deal or such a challenge to say? I believe it's more an insecurity with your own sexuality, if you go out of your own way to find an issue with someone elses.

K.

I hereby denounce/condemn whichever schools are forcing any kind of celebration or holiday, including pride month, on students. All of like 3 schools that do it.

Not ones that are merely teaching that LGBT people exist and aren't evil, immoral, groomers, etc. out to eat your kids though. Those are fine.

why should teaching people about how to have sex safely be optional? like "oh ya, if the parents want them to get STIs and knock eachother up that's on them"... except it's not on them.

yall forgetting your talking about teaching people the foundations of things... not about your personal agendas.

it's called an education, not an opinionation.

Because some parents might wish to teach it to the kids themselves, rather than have a school do it.

If not, they will learn it from their friends anyways... At least the school boys would talk about it a lot among themselves, not that many were actually doing it.

well maybe if parents want to teach their kids their own version of reality so badly they should set aside the time to home school them?

this i do agree with, teaching about safe sex in schools is important. it also reduces the amount of unwanted pregnancy especially in young adults and teenagers which also means less need for abortions - which many people on the right wing do not want at all. both sides of the political spectrum benefit from advocating for comprehensive sexual education

I guess...

However, getting back to the topic at hand. What is their own reality? If not wanting to support LGBTQ, but their own kid turns out to be one, etc. Some parents are so strict in their ways, they will rather have that child reject and disown them, than talk about it.

Other parents will refuse to believe their little child is growing up and still innocent, it's too soon to talk about that stuff, till it's too late.

It's important, but hey some people's parents are complete idiots, too busy crying "Don't groom our children". It's like they believe if you are told or see something, such as the news on TV or play a video game, you will act it out. Teaching sex education or even LGBTQ acceptance, won't actually change that.

almost like the education system should step in at a pre-determined age and provide some baseline education or something...
