yall going on about someone miss-using your pronouns while people aren't even being educated on how to have "traditional sex" safely... and you want to be all like "RESPECT MY PRONOUNS!!"...
well ya-di-da-da Mr. Mrs.
Oh yeah? Just a few cherry picked cases, not the norm, so they shouldn't be used as a rule? Okay, denounce them then. Denounce any school coercing by any means, children in taking part in pride celebrations. Condemn the ones that did, and there's been quite a few.
man nobody can tell me this forum isn't an alt right ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because every time topics like this come up all the right wingers on this forum come out in droves to ♥♥♥♥♥ about the "lgbt agenda" and spew talking points from their favorite youtube grifters
I wouldn't suggest to remove them completely, but rather have their more optional with a parents signature to what they accept the individual child to learn perhaps.
As for pronouns, I don't see any issue to use the name desired by anyone. Most of the time, you likely won't be saying Mr or Mrs anyways, but why is that such a big deal or such a challenge to say? I believe it's more an insecurity with your own sexuality, if you go out of your own way to find an issue with someone elses.
I hereby denounce/condemn whichever schools are forcing any kind of celebration or holiday, including pride month, on students. All of like 3 schools that do it.
Not ones that are merely teaching that LGBT people exist and aren't evil, immoral, groomers, etc. out to eat your kids though. Those are fine.
this is why they can't have lawn darts anymore, ya know?
remember lawn darts? and easy bake ovens? and atomic chemistry sets?
"Denounce this thing that doesn't happen! Denounce it now! No, I won't supply any evidence! You just have to take my word for it. Honest. Rainbow flags are indoctrination! GROOMING!"
yall forgetting your talking about teaching people the foundations of things... not about your personal agendas.
it's called an education, not an opinionation.
Tell that to Florida.
Because some parents might wish to teach it to the kids themselves, rather than have a school do it.
If not, they will learn it from their friends anyways... At least the school boys would talk about it a lot among themselves, not that many were actually doing it.
I guess...
However, getting back to the topic at hand. What is their own reality? If not wanting to support LGBTQ, but their own kid turns out to be one, etc. Some parents are so strict in their ways, they will rather have that child reject and disown them, than talk about it.
Other parents will refuse to believe their little child is growing up and still innocent, it's too soon to talk about that stuff, till it's too late.
It's important, but hey some people's parents are complete idiots, too busy crying "Don't groom our children". It's like they believe if you are told or see something, such as the news on TV or play a video game, you will act it out. Teaching sex education or even LGBTQ acceptance, won't actually change that.
