Gordon Lightfoot? Love Gordon Lightfoot. Acoustic guitar, baby.

Except that wreck site is an officially designated grave area. Diving and tourists are forbidden, and even research expeditions need special permits.

I just like acoustic guitar, baby. You know, if you could read my mind love what a tale my thoughts could tell... all while the guitar gently weeps... no, strums...

Should it be a grave sight? It's the same as the Titanic and every other maritime grave sight. You tell me.
It should be a grave site and they should not disclose the exact location.

People step over dead bodies during their ascent of Everest.

There are just dead people there.

Yes. That is true.

The difference between the two is location and practicality.

Yeah, instant lung collapse at those depths. Very horrible. But! Very quick.

You could last on Everest - if acclimated. And you might even be able to get down to safety - if you were geared up.

Totally agree about the sun. But you would be toasty before reaching the surface. Think Icarus.

Far worse than lung collapse.. the pressure is over 6,000 psi. at that depth and pressure, their bodies literally turned into mash potatoes, they are unrecognizable and the chance of there being actual bodies is slim to none.

Not that high PSI, since it's only 350 times base Atmosphere pressure.

15,750 psi is the pressure level at Marianas Trench. Or about 1000 times base level.

Let's say you had a safe sub. A badass sub. Can carry a green lab. Totally safe too. Would you spend the time to explore our underwater world - from the shoals, to the shelves, to the abyss, to the tectonic mountains, and trenches too?

I would. Why not.

I love Edmund Fitzgerald's voice.

I think Gordon Lightfoot was the boat.

Hell yes!!!!!!!!

If we had the technology they had like in Star Trek with force fields and such could you imagine how badass a submarine could be? It would be amazing
I'd buy that for a Dollar!
Angel of Death visited the Gravesite of Titanic for the first time after 40607 days.

But, contrary to what you are told, the Angel only took 3 lives that day, not 5.

I don't know who they are but i am sure 3 people died there, 5 days ago.

They are likely already dead. If it was just a communications failure, they would have surfaced by now. The depth of the Titanic is only a few hundred feet away from the crush depth of that submersible, so it was likely crushed by the pressure.

The Titanic curse...and the sub was called Titan.
