if you're firing a rocket at something, you're not concerned with being quiet, because the rocket carries around ~5kg of explosive, its going to blow something up. theres no point in making it quiet, because in a split second its going to be very loud anyways.
Still, you'll need a big silencer for those ones and considering that your rocket will make a lot of noise during all its travel from launcher to target, it will not even be effective as the silencer will work only at launch. So ... Yeah, it doesn't exist because nobody need one.
Well, the thread is about "silenced rocket launcher", so, I guess we talk about the launcher here. What make no sense for a rocket.
In Bugs Bunny an ACME bomb umbrella would come out and silence the explosion.
When you know how hard it is to suppress a mere shotgun to begin with, so anything bigger than that ... Good luck lol. On the other hand, some small caliber weapons can be surprisingly silent when suppressed with subsonic ammos.
however, a flash hider on the rocket launcher would do it, and maybe at the rockets burst too, as launching a single rocket is already near to silent.
20 years ago people laughed at me when i suggested silencers for shotguns.. and now look today.
no, the minority.
ahhahah
thats exactly what it needs.
