He's the baseball player who broke Babe Ruth's record.
B A S E B A L L ⚾
Babe Ruth didn't have the DH so he had to either sit out or play defense when he wasn't pitching.
Ohtani has gotten to ride the DH, meaning he didn't have to deal with anywhere near the work or strain that Ruth did.
Also if he has to bat while pitching it means he gets pulled from games earlier for defensive subs. None of that anymore. Defense is gone. The game is a joke.
You should be embarrassed for even comparing the two, and to suggest his record is legit only shows that you don't know ♥♥♥♥ about baseball.
You want that record to be real, make Ohtani go out there and field nine innings for every day he isn't pitching, instead of just having to sit is lazy ass on the bench to go swing a bat every three innings.
It would be like if you got rid of the goalies and hockey and then said, "So, do you think he's gonna break Gretzky's record?"
It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ embarrassment.
Still hate the DH huh?
Basically, the reason why two way players do not emerge is because the muscles used are completely different. To be a successful hitter, you need muscles like Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa.
But for pitchers, the range of motion extremely decreases as muscle mass increases. Therefore, great pitchers, like Randy Johnson and Kershaw, do not unnecessarily increase muscle mass. In other words, pitchers and hitters have a trade-off relationship. Therefore, it is almost impossible to achieve success as a two way player.

Good for him in breaking records
Right. He is the ace pitcher with the most home runs in both leagues.
