Some people have examined the Angels' hitting record to see what it would have been if Ohtani had been excluded. According to them, the Angels' team batting average without Ohtani is .220 and OPS .627, which is the lowest in MLB. In other words, Ohtani's individual performance will improve even more if he moves from the weak Angels to a stronger team. This is because he can earn more home runs and defensive runs against the weak Angels. Ohtani should move to the Dodgers.

That franchise is cursed.

The manager's command is also ridiculous. For example, Ohtani performs better when he is used at No. 2 than at No. 3. Nevertheless, that incompetent manager keeps using him at No. 3. The result is a slump. Shohei should run away from that rubbish team.

In July, when he was used at No. 3, Ohtani's batting average dropped below 10%. However, after he was used at No. 1, he had seven hits, four hits and one homer. Manager Nevin is still no good. If he stays with this kind of team, Otani's performance will not improve.

Ohtani's accounted for 6.5 of the Angels' 21.3 WAR. Trout has 2.9, and this is his worst offensive season since his cup of coffee.

It's not like you need to surround them with a bunch of stars. Just fielding a ~.500 team around them should be enough... and they can't even do that. Even the Rendon signing (and he was one of the best players in the NL) fell flat, not like that was to be expected.

Rengifo, who could have easily taken it, but not only didn't, he didn't even try his best to chase it down. This guy caused Ohtani to concede even more runs. If it was simply poor defending, I could give up. But what is this lack of motivation? Rubbish ball team.

Home runs in three consecutive games!

Shohei Ohtani has now come 1 hit away from the cycle SEVEN times this year! (Tying an MLB record with Lou Gehrig)

It was close. But next year, Shohei will achieve both a no-no and a cycle against the Angels . If the weak Angels are his opponents, it should be an easy achievement.

Today Shohei had all four of his at bats Base on balls. The Yankees are a cowardly team.In 2021, Shohei Ohtani pitched against Guerrero Jr, who was competing for the home run crown. And Shohei fought Guerrero without giving up Base on balls. The Yankees should learn from the spirit of Shohei.

You cowardly NY Yankees...

Well said.

Fun fact: Ohtani has more WAR (pitching and hitting combined) than the Yankees position players combined.

After all, the Yankees are a cowardly team with allegations of Sign Stealing.

I like things that cast a negative light on the Yankees. Have an award!

I'll steer this slightly off topic, but I've been loving Yoshida in his first season with the Sox. He's already one of the toughest players in MLB to strikeout, and he's putting up good power numbers to go along with the amazing contact skills. Hitting .319/.381/.501 (140 wRC+).

Shohei Ohtani hit his first home run in five games today. This puts him on pace for 58.3 this season.

Shohei Ohtani, couldn't hit as a batter today, but came on as a pitcher and pitched a complete game. Only one hit batted in.

He is a great pitcher as well as a home run king.

The Home Run King comes on as a pitcher and shuts out the Tigers. This could not have happened even in the world of comics.

Today's double-header. In the first game, pitcher Shohei Ohtani pitched a shutout game. In the second game, he hit a homerun. What he's doing is beyond the limits of humanity. We are lucky to be able to watch this in real time. We won't see an athlete like this for the next thousand years.
