Can "bruh" be used for females too or do they have another word? I'm not up with the cool kids so I have no idea. :marijacooing:

I'd guess it would be "sis", but I think that's more of an alternate to "bro", so maybe "suh" I guess?

It's not any more cringe than people trying to sound like Shakespeare

It sounds very strange to me to say an abbreviation of brother to someone who is not actually your brother. So I would never use it.
I've heard "bro" but never "bruh". I've only seen it written.

If it's not used for actual brothers, it immediately reminds me of monastic orders, or sisters' orders.

So why is it okay for people to call everyone in there group “guys” when they are not in a group full of guys? When you grow up with a word for so long it grows with you which why people in the hood still use bruh and bro.

Are not ppl in California saying bruh too?

Bruh is a new slang term used primarily by the younger generation. It wasn't used when I was in California. Rizz wasn't used either. Neither was the c-word.

exactly, it's extremely cringeworthy. Try listen to an American trying on an english accent and using those slang words the english use, it's just as cringey.

Bruh was never spammed like it is today. Journey is another word that is spammed today.
