"Bruh" does show a person's age though like many other vernacular words. I would have thought it was said by teenagers to late 20s males and by those that are trying to be "street" cool. :marijaonlooker:

I heard ppl on their 30s saying it and some showdown moderator who is most likely on his 40s v:

I'm a gen X'er I call everyone "Dude".

"Bruh" seems to be a zoomer thing.
I'm Gen Y and I still say "Sir", "Young man", "Madam" and "Miss" ... And sometimes "Hello lovely lady" to friends and people I know. :marijaspeechless:

I was raised in California so I say dude all the time. And I know all the variations of proper dude usage.

Bruh is too new for me. And I don't like the usuage and intent. But at least I'll type bruh. Some new words I refuse to even type.

I never call a friend bro. I call them dude. No, not -my- dude, just dude.

supposedly street cool, but it's just plain lazy to say it the way it is than respecting the other user by saying what you mean properly. trying to make something lazy fashionably cool is just cringeworthy at the best of times.
I can't decide which is more cringe... using "yooo" or "bruh" in a conversation...:iamthink:
I hear people say yooo all the time not a problem over here. No one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it i kinda sense a little bit of racism

Are not ppl in California saying bruh too?
Literally never.
It sounds very strange to me to say an abbreviation of brother to someone who is not actually your brother. So I would never use it.

Someone has to ask it: what if the person on the other end is a girl/woman, do you say she is your brother? xD
I Say it too much bro -
