I miss 70s - 90s action movies

It all started with my dad renting VHS movies to watch them with my mum and that got me hooked into them and I was the fan of many of those icons.

Until about 2000s, it all changed from there and they're no longer the same as it was before.

Strong masculine personalities and the themes surrounding it are gone.

It's all now led by supermodels, edgelords and other weirdos, all lame plots and non-threatening villains.

There just isn't any pew pew to watch anymore.

The older actions stars looked rougher than modern action stars, which gave the movie a more sense of realism, no matter how cheesy the movie was. When watching last few Star Wars movies, the main actors looked like then just came out of a spa, when they were supposed to be on the run.

I also guess the older action stars and movies had more meme potential, while the newer ones are a meme by default, if there are any. Couldn´t name any actual movie star or cebrelity.
