Is WinPcap safe to Install? Can DesmuME go online with it?

I only use it to play Mario Kart DS online with DeSmuME (WinPcap is required to play on Nintendo WFC on DeSmuME) So is that safe use of WinPcap?

This guy ---> (ww.youtube.com/watch?v=avdI6zINL7M)says I need to use WinPcap to get DeSmuME <---- (DS Emulator) connected to the internet to play online. And I have all but one question... Good observation. I'll add another - you posted this: 7 minutes ago. The Steam forums isn't an "instant answer" website.

The best thing you can do is scan the files yourself: https://www.virustotal.com/

WinPcap is absolutely safe, but you should get it from the official sources since it might be an outdated version. It doesn't need any configuration I think since it worked out of the box with nullDC so don't worry about it.

I already tried it earlier today and it was not a virus. YAY!!
