Is WinPcap safe to Install? Can DesmuME go online with it?

I only use it to play Mario Kart DS online with DeSmuME (WinPcap is required to play on Nintendo WFC on DeSmuME) So is that safe use of WinPcap?

I need to use WinPcap to get DeSmuME <---- (DS Emulator) connected to the internet to play online. And I have all but one question... Is WinPcap in THIS download safe to install? -->(www48.zippyshare.(com)/d/40468052/2155/Wi-Fi.rar) <---- Download.

Good observation. I'll add another - you posted this: 7 minutes ago. The Steam forums isn't an "instant answer" website.

Thanks (File got an "A" in safety!) but i'm still skeptical about installing.

WinPcap is absolutely safe, but you should get it from the official sources since it might be an outdated version. It doesn't need any configuration I think since it worked out of the box with nullDC so don't worry about it.

I already tried it earlier today and it was not a virus. YAY!!
