It's bad. :) But 1st place in category "most terrible design" is Candy Box 2. It's free ASCII RPG with some interesting riddles. I always recommend that unusal game.
Gunpoint has got nice noir atmosphere, I'll try it.

My displayed prices are in euro :( Check Botanicula - it's adventure game about seeds on tree, very beautiful (like all Amanita games). Trine is cheap too.

I don't know about "made", but if I check the Store pages of some good-looking games that I have played for a release date of 2013, and using my guess what "Indie" is supposed to mean, a good list would be (in no particular order, since I can't do that):
Ok, it's only two games :-( Among the two, Trine certainly looks better than Dust.
