1. Antichamber (pure minimalism)
2. Banner Saga (excellent nordic atmosphere)
3. Apotheon (living Greek vases)
4. Tengami (it reminds me Okami)
5. Below (it's really creepy and ascetic)
6. Elegy For A Dead World (it must be good! it's so intensive!)
7. Transistor and Monaco ex equo in category "using of colour"
8. Don't Starve (I like Tim Burton)

EDIT: 8,5 FTL

9. Contrast (wasted potential ;( but it shows how great would be game with graphic based on chiaroscuro)
10. Proteus, Shelter and The Witness are so cuuute I can't say which one is the best

Sorry for English

Wow, just noticed your display name, Nausicaa Valley of the Wind is in my top 3 favourite animes of all time. The order of my top 3 changes constantly between that, Princess Mononoke, and Howl's Moving Castle.

Howl's Moving Castle is my favourite fantasy movie of all time :D I love unique and cheerful style of studio Ghibli, their landscapes and using of colour. It's very "organic", the world and characters are compact - environment is not only decoration. Unfortunately we don't have any good Ghibli style games (I don't like jRPGs). I think that Myst series is the closest one - the surrealistic world is as important as characters and story. I miss it ;(

haha, my Grandpa has played all the Myst games and he's nearly 80. He's got almost as much technology as I do

How come I can't find:
Apotheon
Tengami
Below
Elegy For A Dead World
Transistor
The Witness

While searching on steam?
Expecially Transistor & The Witness. These two from youtube searches look amazing!
Are they under a different title in North America or something?

I listed here "even upcoming in 2014" :D We have to wait a moment. I've written titles from my memory and didn't checked date of premiere.

I've listed here so much upcoming games cause I'm quite disappointed this year - no second Limbo. I admire it's graphic style full of fear and sadness. I hope that 1heart will pass Greenlight and will be available this year- it's creepy adventure game with very difficult puzzles. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=191138215 I don't remember also any epic and innocent style game like Braid or Bastion but we need to wait only 2 weeks for The Banner Saga :D

I really appreciate FTL. Position 8,5 I think :)

So you're saying these games are available to North America, they're just not in the Steam database yet?
Nausicaa 31 DIC 2013 a las 16:26
I think so. Some of them are still in production but I remember great screenshots and gameplays from them :)
