Diablo/Diablo 2 HD or Diablo 4?

Would you rather see Diablo 1 and 2 republished in HD or on a better engine with more support from Blizzard or would you rather see a whole new game with new story and gameplay? Personally, I'd rather see Diablo 1 and 2 in HD, bundled with their respective expansion packs. I grew up with those two games and, to me at least, they are both still great games. Diablo 1 has a great atmosphere and some nice bits of wit and humor you can only find in a '90s game, and Diablo 2 has great gameplay with a more in-depth story and more hours of play. It really is a shame more people don't play these great pieces of gaming history.

Diablo 1 & 2 are great games. I would buy it again if it was remade in HD and run by steam. I spent so many hours playing Diablo 2 and I have to say that It rocks. I think many people would agree with me and just think of all the players who could play with. Unfortunately I also think it would be very hard to get it to run on steam becuse on every DCL game there are certain weapons that can't be duplcated on the same game like the set items, or the unique items or weapons. I don't know how the game did it before on the online games. Its possible that would be difficult to do without being buggy, or tampered with. Still I'd love to see it done, and again I would buy it. So would everyone else that played it.

Neither I guess.

Remakes are just lazy cash grabs anyways.
D1 and D2 are still totally fun and playable as they are right now.

Remakes, I can't stand the controls in tem anymore...... I want the controls be like all the other games. I also like being about to zoom in to my characters, if I am not already zoom in anyways :P and number 2 has 7 heroes instead of 5.

Anyway, remakes of D1 and 2. I never played Diablo, but I've heard the first 2 games are way better.

Diablo 3 is in every way better than 1. It is just that the story and necromancer of D2 that has made it a favourite of many. Still, kind of prefer the skill system of D3.
