Do you enjoy debating people you don't even know on the internet?
Is there some sort of pleasure coming out of it? Like taking a dunk after holding it for roughly an hour?

It indeed does tickle my fancy to have someone try and prove me wrong when they never can because I'm always right. The amount of effort they have to put into to even chip away at my solid stature of righthood is marvelous to behold.

It's just a fun mini game on my 2nd monitor while I play games.
No because they won't stop until they think they've won
I like your mustache.

Do you, OP?

F*ck YEAH!
Yeah, I do. It's basically a text-based PvP game. Seriously, though, I think debating is healthy for human beings to do and it's a productive form of communication instead of just outright killing and oppressing each other. I think it's important to hear peoples' sides, even if you disagree with them.

I think you actually don't.
The ability to argue (properly) and debate is a skill. It's a form of discipline. Some people enjoy improving themselves. Other people are fragile.

Paradoxically, when you don't even know them, it's that much easier to pretend you know everything about them.

Is debating on the internet a "productive form of communication" ?

Let's debate then. You start.
No, but I enjoy laughing with people I don't even know on the internet.

I don't like spending to much time on something that will just sail off the first page into the forum abyss in one minute.

It's sad that "winning" is always the primary objective. Learning and communicating should be just as important, if not more, depending on context.

Is debating on the internet a "productive form of communication" ?
It is if both parties are open to listening and not just being heard.

I'm sure you like coffee and take pleasure on letting others know you like it.

How did I do?
