Canada would likely have it's territories divided into 26 states, which would mean there would be an additional 52 senators added to the rest.

This would greatly shift the dynamics of the USA and would essentially be a Canadian takeover of the US, rather than the other way around.

Texas can also legally divide itself into three separate states, but it hasn't.

There's no reason to divide up the already well-established borders of any given Canadian territory.
