Even if I agreed with you that a politics mega-thread was a good thing the fact is all that a person has to do is ignore these particular topics. Simple as that.

This isn't really a Steam forum problem ... it is a problem with people not coping properly with the forum rules and wanting to make their own rules instead.

Just because a certain percentage of people who visit this forum hate Donald Trump doesn't make their opinion the only one that matters. That is where I believe Steam is doing the right thing.

Feelings don't really belong on forums. Common sense does. Hating someone isn't common sense ... it is a feeling. It isn't my fault they that some people aren't taught the difference nor is it on Steam to teach it as well.
