What's the best loot you've found in a game?

It can be anything, weapons, armour, equipment, magic rings, jewels, stacks of gold. From a chest, mob drop or otherwise? (You didn't steal it did you?)

another from bloodborne, the kos parasite. it is usually the last weapon you can be obtaining in a new game cycle, which is unfortunate because the entire game is pretty much over at that point. but fromsoft games all have endless NG+ cycles that get continuously harder up to 7, so you can still be using the kos parasite in NG+, and it is an insanely fun and bizarre weapon!

Back on csgo valve gave really good weapon drops

I had a factory new glock 18 dragon tattoo as a drop (worth 4 dollars then)

It's worth like 250+ now

I took advantage of a bug that allowed me to gain the same loot at the same underwater location over and over again. I forgot how I did it because it was a long time ago. This was in GTA5. They might've fixed the bug later.

There was a Legendary Shotgun I acquired from the last boss in Borderlands 2 I liked quite a bit. However, as a Canadian, my favourite acquired item in a game was a hockey stick used as a melee weapon in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I didn't like the game nearly as much as Sands of Time, but man, that stick has prompted me to ask every developer in every FPS I've bought into Early Access for to include a hockey stick as a melee weapon. Why? Cuz.

all of the weapons in nier (the original and remake) count for this. not only are they all unique in appearance and properties, but each one also comes with a short story about the weapon as a small bonus gift.

yeah, how about some rings and bobbles?

- dark wood grain ring from dark souls is a good one. it changes your dodging animation from a roll into a much faster cartwheel. feels very fun to use!

- havels ring from dark souls. massively increases your equip load, probably the most commonly used ring in the game.

- rotten wing sword insignia talisman from elden ring, increases attack power with successive attacks.

- shinobi firecracker from sekiro, a great stunning/distraction tool and probably the most widely used shinobi prosthetic tool in the game apart from shurikens.

Here's one of my favourite DnD loot, the Spear of Withering +4. It's highly enchanted and adds poison damage, I had Jaheira wielding it.

"Carved from the heart of a rotten Treant, this spear smells of death. When held in your hands it groans a little as if reluctant to allow a living thing to touch it. In battle it spits a foul poison into its target upon each successful hit."
