i always defer to experts in fields who are being more knowledgeable than me. if something is wrong, i go to the doctor and let them figure it out.
They always say, “the doc is not gonna tell me anything I already don’t know!”
But that’s not the point of the visit though. It’s to get meds to ease your suffering and speed up the recovery.
Cannot relate since I pay 0 dollars. My coverage is unlimited for general visit.
yeah, indeed. i go to the doctor even for mild illnesses, sometimes they cannot do much and just tell me to rest up, other times they may be prescribing a temporary medication to speed up my recovery. it takes seconds to set up an appointment online, and an hour for me to head to the hospital and back. more than worth it for a faster recovery.
and general visits with no appointment usually have very short wait times, in my country. so even more reason to go.
Depends, if i have an infected toe or finger i just treat it myself, i don't really like antibiotics.
If something serious then i go to the doctor, like when i need my medication changed.
maybe in their understanding the current health care system doesn't have what he needs yet,
I dont know why young people refuse hospital when sick, maybe in their youthful mind set, they cant picture themselves with illness and hospital.
No lol
They are all young.
Ok, this is where we are already going sideways!
I would consider infected toe or finger a serious case.
