another star won't fit on the flag
We can fit both stars, crescents etc.
I have learned (and have a friend in Quebec who confirmed this) that Canada is like more racist than the US, except it's directed at the french speaking Quebec and whatever the hell an indigenous Canadian is.
I recently saw a meme about Canada just letting part of their population speak french for no reason and the comment section was full of Canadians complaining about the other half of the country being Hindu now.
Weird.
That's not how it works, even if the entirety of this world rightfully belongs to America and thus Americans. Any self-governed nation with a sufficient population and established borders may draft a state constitution then apply for statehood. Which then has to be voted upon by Congress, with a majority vote determining whether or not said nation is permitted to become a state.
The posturing that Trump has been doing is the sort of "big ask" that one does in successful negotiations. Just like how in order to bring our nation back to some semblance of free trade, we must use reciprocal tariffs when dealing with said nations who have been tariffing our goods for decades now.
i suppose quebec may apply to join EU if canada desintegrate
of course trump can alway use force and give excellent reason for south america to invest in nuclear weapon
after yes quebec want independance, but every time it was peaceful, not like american civil war
pretty usa complaint longer time about hispanic than canada about hindu
Yeah, and literally like 80% of Canada is uninhabited.
People treat you guys like you're a big country because of your land mass, but in reality you're like a european country.
I think most of europe fits in Texas, and we rarely talk about Alaska.
The point is, the US is huge. Of course we're going to have done worse because we have a higher percentage of chances.
But there's nothing special about the KKK except they're organized. Most of them are in hiding like any other racist.
As for Slavery, the United States got about 4-6% of the slaves that were actually captured in Africa. The majority of them went to South America and the Caribbean.
And mostly that was done by Europeans hiring actual Africans as their agents.
So spare me the moral lecture. I've never owned or condoned owning a slave, and like most Americans I can't really trace my roots back to know what my ancestors did or didn't do, but they have very little to do with me outside of genetics.
Maybe people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. You'll notice in my message I said my information was confirmed by someone who lives in Quebec, and I simply made an observation.
I didn't tell Canadians how they should act, or talk about how they need to legislate that crap. I did say they were worse than the US, but I was referencing my earlier sentence about our reputation, not actually rating countries based on racism.
The point is, I mind my own business. Unlike all the foreigners on Steam that seem to be obsessed with the US, and all have opinions on how we should do things and the completely wrong idea of how things work here.
In fact, I would imagine that vkobe has a different opinion than my friend because the world is a big place and two people don't experience the same things.
