Is it worth buying a ps5 just to play grand turismo 7?

I once bought the ps4 entirely for gran turismo sport, and it got me an invitation by Sony to compete at a tournament. I would say yes gran turismo 7 is a great game with frequent updates, I love the online sport races, they are ranked by your driver score and races are getting set up by that, and it works very well and makes for very fair intense and close racing, and besides the online races there is a broad variety of things to do, creating liveries, the customizing of your car is quite broad as well, and the physics just feel good, but it is out quite some time already. And also if you could afford it, a steering wheel makes it a so much better experience, it will not necessarily make you better, but it’s easier when used to it and just feels natural, in my experience the Logitech g27/g29 are great price to quality products. But if you have the ps4 already, I would advise to just buy it for that console, and maybe think about getting yourself a steering wheel, if you really like racing and are somewhat competitive that is.

What is it about GT7 specifically that attracted you?



If you have a good PC I'd suggest trying out GT5 or 6 a little bit through.... other methods of course, if your PC is not up to par try out GT4, buying a whole console for a single game seems like a waste.

Still haven't touched my GT Sport for PS4. I did not get my PS5 for playing one game but because it is a good console that can play PS4 games etc.

A slim digital ps5 retails for $459.99, and gt7 is normally $69.99, so you're looking at a ~$530 purchase, not factoring in tax. I wouldn't bother unless you're certain you'll put in at least 1000 hours or will buy and enjoy other ps5 games

that's only depend on how much you like Gran turismo.

if this is the kind of games you're gonna play every week for years to come , yeah.

otherwise , in a certain way , it's a game that is gonna cost you a few hundred dollars if you don't buy any other games for that same console.
