probably not, no. it is a huge amount of money, effort and hard work going into constructing a van into a home when you would probably be better off just purchasing a home.

but i will admit i do enjoy van life content. it is relaxing, and the positive aspects of it like seeing nature and traveling from place to place seem very peaceful and free.

You would be better off getting a prefab without utilities for like 16k then utilities and land and insulation plus drywall paint and decor you're looking at 50k for a space that's like a cottage. Small kitchen, small bathroom, a decent living space, tiny bedroom, two floors. If you get it in an area that's not too close to a city, it should be about one-tenth the price or less

if this will make you happy, then yes

Living in a van down by the river? Bad Luck.
Lots of people enjoy it for a while. But not many do it for the rest of their lives unless they have no other choice.

You can always sell the van when you're done, assuming you care for it.

I've gotten used to it. :steamhappy:
Might as well get an RV instead, a little more room, but already has most of the conveniences built into it. Nothing will motivate you into working overtime than having your toilet less than 3 foot from your bed.
