Maybe HTAD doesn't know not every papa is the same. He might be a daddy himself. This is all I will say.
I always wanted to try something. I know my father. He is very supportive despite my downs in life. If he has supported me all this time, he will still show how he feels towards me if I showed my true colors. Maybe one day. Sure he questions the people that he sees on television, people that probably weren't common back in his days (he is in his early 60s), I try to explain to best to my knowledge to him. After all I am his child and he is my dad. I know he will love and respect me as I love and respect him back for he has done so much for me.
What I am saying is I don't go around telling that every father is the same, like seeing his own son a disappointment because he isn't like him or what a man is supposed to be by standards of the past or whatever. There is no should and is in this matter. I had friends and I closely observed my surroundings while visiting them, that means I also saw their parents. Comparing parents they all didn't share any similarities of same upbringing except they gave their children lunch on their journey know as life.
At least that's how I see it.
...
Or maybe I am just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded.
That's a pretty good point. Not only parents, but people in general can be very different.
Besides, no one is on Earth to please their parents, to do and be what they want or hope.
as far as I know he's dead right now, as well as my other grandpas.
They have a habit of knowing, somehow.
that's true; every person is unique, and likewise many parents can differ between each other
some may be supportive when their kids break the mold, others may be subhuman (figuratively) trash who kick out their kids for not being the way they're expected to be
but one thing is clear
the closer someone is to the latter, the more likely it is they'll never get visited when they're rotting in an asylum
Besides, the asylum system was done away with.
it means more of "below humans", "less than human"
i don't like the term that much cuz i'm sorta therian, but it honestly was the closest thing to the vitriol i wanted to express for such people
*retirement home, sorry
i keep using the terms interchangeably, along with geriatric, but i really shouldn't
Those threads are that way. 👉
Or were they that way? 👈
Ah f it! Just walk aimlessly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Eh? Nothing wrong with being submissive.
It can feel good to give in to your strong, emotional, feelings.
I don't think Lord Satan minds if I belly dance. He might encourage it.
