Where's the sense of disposing the onions and carrots after simmering in a bouquet garni?
??
They exist outside of the US. Some are the Hollywood movie American diner stereotype (particularly the 1950s-ish style). Others are artisan burger joints (often advertised as Brooklyn-style or such). You'll also find southern US BBQ joints out in the world too, but those are a bit more rare due to the special equipment needs for high quality southern bbq cooked en masse. You'll even find authentic American style BBQ competitions taking place in various countries.
All of that, of course, besides the American fast-food joints which have long been a thing.
British! rofl...
Even their staple drink is stolen from China and the western world.
