How to play sonic cd

I want to play sonic cd since it's on off my favorite games (I played the hell out of it on my tablet when I was younger around 7 to 8) I don't want to purchase a steam key since all those sites are shady I can't get a sega genesis mini 2 since the one place selling them that was in my country is out of stock and my mom doesnt want to order from Amazon or ebay since their based in America and we live very far away from their I don't want to play the mobile phone version since touch controlls aren't my thing plus a recent update made so you start out with one life Instead of three which is really scummy and make you watch an ad when you gameover so you can continue what do I do I just want to play it it's like my favorite sonic game pls help

This is currently the only legit way of getting it on steam if you didn't already have a version.

Dang I don't really want to buy sonic origins cause of all the negative reviews cause I'm scared I won't like it and will have to return it

Even though the North American version of the Genesis 2 Mini was sold on the U.S. Amazon website, it actually ships from japan[www.polygon.com].

The person who was selling Genesis 2 Mini consoles was probably scalping them if it was being shipped locally. since they are only made in Japan, so it might still be cheaper to order directly from Amazon, esp. if you order during a price drop. According to camelcamelcamel the cheapest the console ever was so far is $86.66 (U.S.D.) plus shipping.[camelcamelcamel.com] It usually sells for closer to $100 plus shipping though, which is the price it is at right now. I don't have one at this point in time, but the first mini console was pretty neat in my opinion.

Also, check for restocks.

Ok I'm still salty tho since I'm only 13 and I just happen to like retro games but I can't get a Genesis mini cause of scaplers it really sucks since I wanted one specifically for the sega cd games and I'm scared of emulation cause I don't want to get any viruses plus it looks really difficult I've only done very basic emulation on my phone before and I accidentally installed a virus on in while doing it thanks for the help tho I'll keep looking hopefully they start to pop up again
