The person who was selling Genesis 2 Mini consoles was probably scalping them if it was being shipped locally. since they are only made in Japan, so it might still be cheaper to order directly from Amazon, esp. if you order during a price drop. According to camelcamelcamel the cheapest the console ever was so far is $86.66 (U.S.D.) plus shipping.[camelcamelcamel.com] It usually sells for closer to $100 plus shipping though, which is the price it is at right now. I don't have one at this point in time, but the first mini console was pretty neat in my opinion.
Also, check for restocks.
