Frontier(s) was pretty damn ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and crazy, but I think the horror movie that left me feeling the most uneasy was Umbilical World. It's like watching and living through a nightmare and it is incredibly unsettling at times.

I really dislike horror movies and the practically obligatory sequelitis.

The Scream series gets a pass, since it's self-aware and self-referential about overstaying to the point of ridiculousness, but ♥♥♥♥ like The Hellbound Heart has no excuse considering there was an actual sequel, but none of the movies had anything to do with it.
