There is isn't a law yet mate but sites can stop it and try to stop it as it is in their legal right. You have no legal right to pirate.
Let's see how it plays out for them cotton
I bet you think this is an own
You do not own your content when you post it to their platform. They own it and they can do what they please. They aren't stealing, you are.
Copyright claims are filed when you the user posts something to youtube that violated another's persons copyright that applies to movies, music, art, etc as you stole it. This also applies to other sites and platforms. The platform or site isn't responsible unless they fail to take it down after a claim but the person who files the claim usually decides the outcome if they want it to stay up and make money from it, etc.
Some companies may allow it if you ask for permission or the bot mess up and wasn't supposed to get hit with claim then you simply reach out who owns the copyright and they will tell you If they will remove it or not.
And if YouTube (Google) wants payment upfront before people watch their content then they'll adopt the same model that Patreon uses for paid subscription content.
Considering that Google hasn't sued anyone over this (as far as I'm aware) and has not paywalled their content, it seems that not even the company that you claim is getting stolen from agrees with you.
Courts are ruling in favor of adblock, which means that the law does not agree with your position either.

"German publishing house Axel Springer has lost its copyright infringement lawsuit against Eyeo GmbH, the company behind Adblock Plus."
haha "owned"
lol k
I always have and always will use ad blockers and services that like adnauseam that serve to confound their analytics and make cost Youtube and their advertisers money without a net gain. Works against all advertisers and websites and not just Youtube.
Sponsor block, uNlock Origin, user agent switcher and the privacy features built into firefox and when combined with NoScript, you have a very strong protection against tracking, ads and anything else you don't want.
