Is kissing cheating?

So, one of the girls I work with has a boyfriend, but she hangs out with and even kisses, like making out kinda kissing, this other girl from work. So to her it's not a thing, it's just a natural part of friendship, I guess? But I don't understand. If you're SO is making out with someone, regardless of gender, isn't it kinda cheaty? I mean, it seems to me like it is just because the girl is really trashy, so I feel bad for the boyfriend who has to kiss her after that.

Yes, it's considered cheating. There's also such a thing as an "emotional affair." You don't have to consummate to cheat; cheating can happen via a kiss, flirting, hugging, etc.

If she's doing it without her partner's consent, then it is cheating. If otherwise, no.

Polyamorous couples do exist. Also, didn't realize we were still in the Edwardian era. Hugging someone is cheating? Pfft.

But hugging, cheek kisses are OK, especially if they're European (cultures are diffeernt).

It probably is based upon default the default assumptions of chastity, but excluding religious proscriptions, the exceptional parameters they established in their relationship matter. Some people are okay with an open relationship, provided certain requisites are met, even with other guys . Some guys think girls making out with other girls is kinda hot and it is not like two girls can get each-other pregnant. It's also not like saliva transmits A.I.D.S.

The fact that she is so open about it suggests to me that they talked about it, and he is one of the guys who is okay with that. I think she would be trying to be more secretive about it otherwise.

The question is, if you had a chance to pull him aside privately and ask him how he felt about it, without causing unnecessary workplace problems between you and her. how do you think he would respond to his girlfriend?

To put it in gamy terms, what constitutes cheating depends wholly on the game you are playing. If you are playing Pokemon Red, then you have to wait your turn, but if you're playing Quake III Arena then you can be playing a free for all.

So it's definitely like an attempt at intimacy on the part of the girl who's not in a relationship. Or at least that's how it seems because she's in a state of arrested development and is very desperate to be in a relationship.
