Youtuber hunting people who use adsblockers

I got this https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attachments/youtube-adblocker-jpg.295394/ popup today and there is real easy fixed for it, report as problem but turn your adsblock off then let take screenshot of your wep webbower and send it then turn adsblock back on X3

got ublock origin + adblocker ultimate + i had to whitelist the site on ghostery and privacy badger and even youtube enhancer addon. i just can't play any video if i have any of these on.
tried the trick op said but after i restarted both desktop and laptop i still had the same issue.
had to whitelist the site on all of them. also using firefox v. 118.0.2 @ 64 bit.

Does the report button even work without a google account?

If someone is a big enough fool to have one of those, they are already lost.

I can tell you it doesn't work (along with commenting) for people with an original YouTube account. I refused to convert it over to Google+ back in the day, so it's still pretty much a "stand-alone" account, albeit limited in what I can do with it (I can still up/down-vote and subscribe).

YouTube is pinching out the minority. I'm surprised they haven't done it sooner.

thing is all my ads don't last longer than 2 seconds. i think that's probably on malwarebytes addon that blocks ads as well because youtube doesn't "see" it yet.

not bans. but you can't play any video after a certain point onward. i got that really early on.

Just pauses the video and pops up every time I try to play one, not much else I think.

after a certain point onward you won't be able to see any video. you'll get a prompt screen that's saying that you have to shutdown your adblockers otherwise no video even loads. on playlists that means it goes str8 to the next one on the playlist and the next one etc without playing any of them.

More and more websites are detecting ad blockers and will not let people see content as long as they are enabled. smh

as long as you can see the video link you should be able to download the video using yt-dlp in most cases, so it's not really the end of the world. although i imagine adblockers will just find a way to circumvent this problem anyway

definitely, it's just that it's annoying for the time being, but nothing more than that.

idk, writing was on the wall there.

eventually it´ll be like how game devs hunt cheaters in their online games, or they´ll just turn the site subscription only.

noticing a lot of creators publishing to other sites, so, that´s a positive step.
