People don't say it out loud, but isn't Capcom just as pointless and vapid a company as Ubisoft at this point? If not for repackaging twenty-year-old games they would have nothing to sell.

World at War is an exception
I disagree on Doom 2016 being nearly perfect. Really, Doom Eternal is just more of the same thing, and Doom 2016 wasn't that great in my opinion. Glory kills are the biggest sticking point for me, they got repetitive quickly and almost felt like a feature that was built to appeal to redditors and mainstream gaming journalism.
At least Eternal had a rune to make them faster.
I have dodged all of them on purpose.
