Personally I consider the original Myst a walking sim. With just how much of it was walking around and taking in the sights.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean there isn't people who do.
Not everything has to have violence, etc.
You do what you want with your money and we will do what we want with ours.

Disagree. I got this game for Free via the "Free Games" Suggestion in off-Topic. I had it in my library for years before I played it, and it's an amazing game. I didn't play it for the longest time because I thought it was JUST a walking sim.
It's soo much more. It's more a delivery game. Yes, you do walk some of the time, but eventually you're using various vehicles, building roads, zip-lines and other methods of travel. The environment you're traverse is beautiful and at the same time very deadly. There are zones around the map that trigger special events that can be incredibly deadly, and usually are places one has to stealth through. (or fly like Frodo and hope the badies don't get you)
Two neat game mechanics are...the area between two points is eroded and initially there's no paths. But as your character travels back and forth in a certain area the path becomes worn and easier to traverse.
And the other mechanic is everything you place down whether it's a bridge, or booster sign or shelter can be seen by other players. The more you deliver, the higher your rating and the more you'll see other players items. So while you won't see other players, they can help you out, and you can help them out. You'll find paths that some player painfully staked out and climbed to place ropes and ladders to make your travel time so much easier...and you'll find yourself doing the same.
One of my favourite games:

But I suppose if you don't like fast, challenging gameplay (or gameplay at all) it could work. Sort of like a thing you can play with your brain turned off while high on pot or if you have a broken arm or something or want to zone out during lectures or office work.
