no offense to any AI "artist", but there really is NO talent or skill to "generating" AI created pixels... damn near anyone can do it... it don't take much."
'Easy' is NOT work.
Monday the artist was celebrated and at friday the artist is framed for being backward thinking and sentenced to prison for taking their freedom to do whatever they want.
Paintings sold to laundry money are bought and sold by specific buyer and seller. For this instant it doesn't matter what the public opinion is thinking. The AI art can be sold, it has no meaning.
Take example on NFT . Does it still exist. Answer yes. In public domain? No. It's a club and you are not part of the club.
So art can be made with advanced technology?
I have seen AI artists work.
I rule in favor of digital artists being the better makers of artwork. There is thought put into the work. More than AI artists can say.
