Enough of saying "Merry Christmas!", it's not Christmas yet

Christmas is a week away and already the forums are filling up with these Merry Christmas threads. Christmas is December 25th, not on December 17th, and not on December 27th. Yet people still say Merry Xmas days after it's over.

And hanging Xmas decor before Thanksgiving is another reason why I dislike Xmas.

Even I, an atheist, know that. 12 days of Christmas.

People don't take down the decorations until 6th Jan, also known as Grinch Day where I am locally. People dress up as the Grinch to be as evil as possible and gloating as they take the tree away.
