Wait, were people paid for their work in Soviet Union?
And the minimum wage is not increasing.
America is on the same path, people are so quick to trade freedom away for an illusion of safety and/or profit.
What is moral becomes what is legal and profitable.
Also I believe you will enjoy the standup comedian Yakov Smirnov. The Russian Ministry of Jokes(real) approved his escape to America.
**ok I work a year for free.. but after that I get 5k a month.. a car of the compagny etc. if I do my job better than most here (being I belong to the best 50%)
it is better to have such written down and contractual obligated things.. than to want higher pay now.
-a new boss won't believe you on your blue eyes
-and you sure can do a lot better than your current cv experience
-but you end up stuck every time due people not giving that chance without experience.. but not get experience without chance
-but you also aint a fool who will be exploited a free intern.
-so you just combine the two.. you aproach such a boss and make him an offer he cannot refuse.. if you do a great job.. you get great pay.. if not.. he won't loss a penny.
sure a risk.. but such gut at least make hard work worth it again.
usually "growing possibility" and "education paid by the compagny"
is worth more than imediate higher pay.
but I like those things written down on paper before I start.
for to often bosses promise "growing possibility" but than it never happens...
so you need a hard conditional if - than in your contract. even if that means agreeing to less now.
This type of capitalism is the same as communism isn't it?
Soviet workers in the 80s were somehow wealthier than American workers today.
Tell me what American worker today can afford paying the bills, housing, food, healthcare, raising 2 children and going on a vacation every year.
Soviet workers were richer than today's American workers?
So crony capitalism is worse than communism?
People at the top are greedy. They destroy freedom to have control and power.
All systems are the same at this point when it comes to the end result.
